A call from a concerned citizen led to the arrest of a residential burglary suspect in the 1700 block of Eaton Avenue on Sunday.
In a shining example of what to do when spotting suspicious activity, the witness called the SC Police Bureau on July 31st before noon and reported seeing three men parked in a car in the driveway of the residence.
When deputies arrived, they found only 41-year old Edward Frank Millan of San Bruno standing in the driveway.
A check found that several doors of the house had been pried open. Millan was identified as the suspect who entered the residence and later booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
According to police, “the amount of property missing is to be determined.”
Also according to the news release: “The second suspect is described as an Hispanic male, 40 years of age, with long hair in a ponytail. The third suspect is unknown. The vehicle was described as similar to an older model, Ford Thunderbird, maroon in color.”
